Keith Haring: 1978–1982
BROOKLYN MUSEUM, NY

On view at the Brooklyn Museum, is the first large-scale exhibition to explore the early career of one of the best-known American artists of the 20th century.

The exhibition traces Haring’s visual vocabulary and chronicles his early years as a New York artist, including
hundred of works on paper, experimental videos, and rarely seen sketchbooks, journals, posters, etc.

Although the show stops short of his AIDS diagnosis and his early death, the exhibition does explore his public
and politically charged art, which has become nothing less than iconic.

Keith Haring: 1978–1982 will be on view from March 28-July 8.
